  • Original story: Over the past few months, it has become easier and easier to find a GTX 1070 or 1080 at MSRP—even custom versions. However, cheaper cards like the 1050 and 1060 are still regularly above their original prices. If you’ve been on the lookout for a good deal on the GTX 1060, you can get EVGA’s model for just $249.99. This the standard price for a Founders Edition GTX 1060, but EVGA’s model is smaller in size and has a custom cooler. You can buy the EVGA GTX 1060 from Amazon here.

  • Original story:A group of Fortnite players noticed something odd and unpleasantly surprising in the way four metal floor tiles came together as part of an in-game dance floor they were constructing: Where the four corners joined, a very distinct swastika had formed. The symbol is generated when the tiles are placed together and then edited into a circle, redditor EuBestCityEu explained. “We were making a dance floor in tilted when one of my teammates noticed this,” they wrote. • Rocket League’s Jurassic World Car Pack DLC released today, and while I’m not particularly fond of the Jurassic Jeep Wrangler it includes (you can’t change the colors, for one thing), I had to check out the T rex goal explosion. I thought a dabbing reaper was the most obnoxious Rocket League goal explosion possible, but I may have been wrong. See the video above for the screech of victory (make sure your volume’s up for the full effect). The Jurassic World Car Pack is $2, a small price to pay to

  • Quake Champions is in kind of a strange place right now. It’s been publicly available for almost a year, it boasts cutting-edge gib-splosion technology, and it’s good. But it’s also still in Early Access on Steam, and so even though it’s intended to be a free-to-play game, it is not currently free: If you want to get in, you have to pony up for the $30 Champions Pack. We want to give latecomers a chance to get in on the action too, so we’re extending #F2P access for another week! Take note that

  • Lenovo announced a series of IdeaPad budget laptops last month, ranging from the Pentium-powered 330 to the i7-equipped 530S. They were priced decently at launch, but one of the lower-end models just dropped to $350, a savings of $100 over the initial price. The IdeaPad 330S has a strange mix of specifications. There are plenty of options for connectivity, including a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a USB Type-C connector, HDMI, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. You can buy the IdeaPad 330S from B&H here.

  • Fallout 76 is set in a post-apocalyptic West Virginia and, judging from its new E3 trailer, it really leans into the state’s colorful landscapes and legends. It looks like a fun setting, but West Virginia isn’t exactly a business capital or vacation hotspot, so it doesn’t get a lot of screen time. As such, curious Fallout fans have been researching the state in anticipation of Fallout 76’s November release, and as Charleston news station WCHS reports , West Virginians hope to see that interest t

  • I’ve never really known what to make of the Dead or Alive series. The fighting games aren’t as blatantly sexualized as the beach blanket ‘balling, perhaps, but the lengthy list of DLC available for the free-to-play Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters on Steam includes stuff like, well, this. That’s the choice 40 sweepstakes winners of Intel’s anniversary chip will have to make, because AMD is feeling spunky. We now know the PC specs its mouthwatering demo was powered by. Speaking about the demo, CD Projekt Red’s Marcin Iwinski told Kotaku what we were shown was a real build of the game, and was running on its REDengine4. By taking on the entire book, I got a double dose of food world tours encompassing the real world and Azeroth. My friends and family enjoyed the benefits of the project, and some learned about World of Warcraft for the first time. • The demo begins in a forgotten temple in Ganesha, a city in the New Indian continent of the moon Soma. In Beyond Good and Evil 2’s world, the people are infertile, and can only populate the world by cloning the DNA of the first settlers. With the scientists thoroughly defeated, the devs head out of the temple and into the city of Ganesha proper. But I see little of what that grand scale means, and what detail I am shown still feels like it needs lots of time. And that’s all fine—Beyond Good and
