The main characters are two assassins stuck in a timeloop, Groundhog Day-style, that begins again when they die. One wants to end the loop, one wants to preserve it, and both of them are out to kill each other. At Bethesda’s E3 showcase, a new Doom Eternal story trailer was released, along with a release date for the gruesome first-person shooter. Doom Eternal will arrive on November 22, 2019. Underlord from Dota 2. Footage allegedly of Valve’s adaptation of Dota Auto Chess, Dota Underlords, has been leaked. Valve announced that it was working on its own version of Dota Auto Chess a few weeks ago, not long after applying for a trademark for Dota Underlords. While the footage is from the mobile version, there’s a PC version in development, too. If Dota Underlords is hosting a testing phase, we could be hearing more about it soon, and hopefully some details about the PC version.

According to reliable industry insider Nibel, Ubisoft will announce Rainbow Six Quarantine, a new co-op focused Siege spin-off game, at its E3 2019 conference. Now framed as a new Rainbow Six game, the pieces are all starting to make more sense. It’s likely that Quarantine is based on the popular Outbreak mode introduced to Rainbow Six Siege in March 2018. EA is hosting another Infinite Gaming Sale, shaving up to 60 percent off a big pile of games, including Battlefield 5 and Anthem. If you were in any doubt as to whether Journey was beloved by critics or not, look no further than its PC launch trailer. “One of the best games ever made,” declares one. The ever-contentious word “art” is tossed around a bit as well. I can vouch for it being a very good video game, and it’s nice to have the opportunity to experience it on PC. Its ambient cooperative play—which leads to sometimes fleeting, sometimes collaborative random encounters—is genuinely gripping.
