  • Now, as we pass the Spring Split’s halfway mark with both teams still below a 50 percent win rate it seems clear that a sea change is upon us. Sure, either team could still make playoffs, but neither is likely to enter as favorites to win the split for the first time ever in the NA LCS. If you couldn’t guess from all that, both TSM and CLG lost their matches in week 5. On the opposite end of the table, week five also gave us a match up between the league’s clear best teams, Cloud9 and Echo Fox,

In EU, the marquee match of the week will be on Friday when Team Vitality, currently first in the league with a record of 7-1, take on the number two team, G2 Esports. This is the first time the two have faced and will be far and away the most impressive team that Vitality has had to face so far. Meanwhile in North America, two of the region’s oldest rivals will face off for the first time in 2018 when TSM takes on Cloud9.

  • Week four of the NA LCS is in the books and the standings couldn’t be much closer. With the advent of franchising, at least so far, it seems clear that just about any team could win on any given day. In fact, these two teams, and Team Liquid who lost both of their week four games, are the only teams in the league with winning records. Better yet, they face off on Sunday during week five in what could be the most important regular season match of the Spring Split so far. While most teams likely w

While the decision was originally made to ensure fans always knew when the NA LCS started, the trade off was pushing games into the late evening — especially for East Coast viewers — at the start of most people’s work week. Riot’s statement also makes clear that this move wa
