  • Somewhere is a game which Studio Oleomingus has been working on for more than half a decade. The game you’ll find being outlined in 2013 has figures who act as vessels through which the player can interact with the game, swapping from one to another for new perspectives via a sneaking stealth process. Screenshots from the blog give a sense of a game being developed, with the team figuring out character models and implementing ideas. There are other games and experiences which have sprung up arou

Likewise, Forsaken channels Destiny 1’s weapon system in new, free-form loadouts allowing players to equip any weapon type in any slot, and in seemingly any combination. In addition to introducing game optimizations for Vampyr and Jurassic World Evolution, Nvidia also says this is the driver to install for the “best possible gaming experience on HDR-capable G-Sync displays.” They include:[SLI][Hitman Pro: DirectX 12]: With SLI mode enabled, the game cr

  • What I mean is the new Phanteks case, the Evolv X, keeps the Phanteks aesthetic the company is known for, but totally redesigns the interior of the Evolv to be roomier and more versatile. Without increasing the size of the case compared to the older Evolv, the Evolv X made room for more cooling, more storage, and added a second mount point for a mini-ITX system at the top of the case. The Evolv X is a dual system case in the size of a mid-tower. That’s the most attention grabbing new feature in

  • The FIFA World Cup 2018 kicks off next week, which GTA Online is celebrating with a GTA$250,000 giveaway. This week’s double RP and in-game money is tied to all Transform races, including the seven new tracks added today. For my money, the Shotaro isn’t quite as entertaining in free play, though. Detailed info on GTA Online’s seven new Transform races can be gleaned from this Rockstar Newswire post. If you can’t afford any of the above, learn how to make money in GTA Online.

  • The Destiny 2: Forsaken reveal event will begin at 9 am PT/12 pm ET today, June 5, bringing us details on what Bungie has planned for year two of its big online shooter and what we can expect in the expansion set to arrive in September. It looks an awful lot like this one will be about the Fallen and will take us to The Reef, home of the Awoken and the Prison of Elders—a place Cayde-6 has been paying particular attention to of late. Should be interesting—watch it with us below.

  • Great moments in PC gaming are short, bite-sized celebrations of some of our favorite gaming memories. Grim Fandango Developer: LucasartsYear: 1998Grim Fandango is a beautiful adventure, and never moreso than during Year 2. That wonderful, wonderful music. Rubacava is one of the greatest towns in gaming, give or take a couple of particularly painful puzzles. It’s not a place you’d likely want to live, but it’s a great place to have lived.

Bouncer Traps come in packs of three from chests, llamas and drops, and are designed to “send friend or foe soaring”. • This year MSI made the best gaming laptop of the year with the stylish, thin, and powerful GS65 Stealth . MSI’s been improving its gaming laptop designs year after year, but has never done much outside the gaming space. The Prestige PS42 is an ultrabook, going after the likes of the Dell XPS 13 and Apple’s tiny MacBook. I think MSI has the potential to break open a section of the laptop market that no one is currently competing in: great portable laptops that can actually play contemporary games

Tom was disappointed with an early build back in April, but I’m impressed with how its fire, water and smoke effects are shaping up today. • In his 80-scored Surviving Mars review, Fraser concluded that “managing a burgeoning colony never stops being compelling” despite at times being “a lot of hard work”. With so much going on, city-builders can overwhelm—which, following player feedback, is why Haemimont Games rolled out a five-part tutorial system in last week’s Curiosity update. “Before launch, we thought to ourselves: nobody wants to play a tutorial,” the developer’s CEO Gabriel Dobrev tells me when asked why Surviving Mars ship

Intel’s current top-end Core i9-7980XE, with a now pathetic 18 cores, is a $2000 CPU. • It’s the first exhibition day of Computex 2018, and that means I had a morning mission: find In Win’s booth. This case company always makes beautiful PC cases that go heavy on the glass, but that’s not the big draw. The Computex booth every year has a crazy concept case to draw attention, and no matter how outlandish, In Win always makes a limited number to sell to those who can afford them. • Lego Worlds isn’t just Minecraft with Lego* – players can also create their own games using some pretty intuitive in-game tools. Take this example: someone has built Dark Souls’ Firelink Shrine in the block-building game, and they’ve not forgotten to include those horrible respawning skeletons. • The first thing I saw upon walking into Taipei’s Nangang Exhibition Center, which houses tech convention Computex, was this gargantuan display of liquid cooling and RGBs. It’s called Inception Project, and it’s a huge collaboration between hardware companies and pro case modders spearheaded by Cooler Master. A ton of Cooler Master power supplies give the array juice, with cooling components from Bitspower and loads of motherboards, graphics cards, and SSDs from big names like Asus and Gigabyte.

The news comes via a new trailer, which is Japanese language, though we’ll likely get an English equivalent soon enough. Revealed early last year, the game looks promising if you’re into gruelling combat and shouty anime stuff.
