  • The Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay reveal was viewed by almost half a million people. Lucky for me, CD Projekt Red says damage numbers can be turned off and a host of HUD elements will be optional. Following Monday’s gameplay reveal, Sardukhar, a moderator on the game’s official forum, asked prospective players what they liked and disliked about the footage. Within their own observations, they say they’d like the option to remove the damage numbers above target’s heads—which Sardukhar has since updated

  • You collect blood samples from infected-occupied areas around the map, and when you’ve got enough, you sprint to a helicopter and try and take the only seat out of there. On the way, you’ll encounter and battle other players, and you can steal their blood samples if you overcome them. More blood samples level up your character. Since then, Techland has raised the player count from six to twelve, and it means the map feels pretty populated. More modes, a few maps, and a potentially gigantic playe

  • You can finally watch the full Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo. And if you watched it live via CD Projekt Red’s Twitch stream the other day, you did so alongside nearly half a million others. That’s according to videogame statistics site Githyp, who reckons Monday’s showing makes Cyberpunk 2077 the “most watched stream on Twitch for an upcoming game” in 2018 so far. At the time of writing, Cyberpunk 2077’s gameplay reveal has also been viewed 4.7 million times on its official YouTube channel . I co

Those same bonuses roll over this week, alongside the addition of the HVY Menacer—a weaponised vehicle fit for blowing things up, and, of course, griefing. • Family Man looks like it could be a very interesting sort of experience. “For every decision that Family Man throws at you, there are different ways to handle it. Of course, if you don’t pay off your debt, you’ll end up like Joe Pesci in a cornfield. Family Man won’t be out until sometime in 2019, but a closed beta will take place near the end of this year. You can sign up for that through the Family Man Discord channel, and learn more about the game at familymangame.com.

We believe the overall experience will feel markedly different to Destiny players, in a really good way.” Bungie also dropped the Destiny 2: Forsaken launch

  • We’ve long recommended the Blue Yeti, which in our opinion is the best microphone option for most people. If you’re looking for something a little cheaper and smaller, however, Blue today introduced the Yeti Nano for “broadcast-quality podcasting.” As it pertains to the Yeti Nano, it measures a little more than 3 inches shorter than the regular Yeti. The Yeti Nano isn’t just a smaller version of the Yeti, though. The Yeti Nano is available now in four different color options, each priced at $99.

  • AMD and Nvidia both have new GPU driver updates available, and both feature performance optimizations for multiple games. As we reported earlier, AMD’s driver release is optimized for Strange Brigade and F1 2018. Likewise, Nvidia’s new 399.07 WHQL driver package is a “Game Ready” release aimed at delivering the best performance possible in those same two games, though it’s the Battlefield V open beta that headlines this driver release. • The new Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.8.2. release coincides with the launch of Strange Brigade, with claims of up to a 5 percent performance boost for Radeon RX Vega 64 owners in that specific game. AMD provided one other performance metric, a 3 percent bump for Radeon RX 580 8GB owners when playing Strange Brigade at 1440p. • Destiny 2: Forsaken is now just one week away, and today Bungie began the countdown with the rollout of the D2:F launch trailer. And yes, the Guardian speaks! Also notable is Uldren Sov’s fiddling with a shard of the Traveller, suggesting that he’s going to (or at least trying to) get Guardian powers. Surely there must be a greater cause at play, a higher purpose—perhaps even something morally ambiguous? Let’s be honest, that guy could get on your nerves sometimes.

  • In the wake of its impressive E3 showing, From Software said Activision is giving the studio “much-needed support” on Sekiro’s tutorial system. The partnership still strikes me as an odd one, but the Dark Souls studio has opened up on why joining forces with the publisher is the right move. Talking to gamesindustry.biz at Gamescom, From’s community manager Yasuhiro Kitao says Activision was one among many western publishers it pitched Sekiro to. “Initially when we had this project proposal we to

  • Not only does Fallout 4’s Project Valkyrie mod add 20 new quests and a handful of dungeons, bunkers, and player bases to the Commonwealth, it lets you alter the base game’s ending. Thuggysmurf says the mod works regardless of which point in the game you’re at, or which factions you’ve aligned with. “However, if you want to play 100 percent of the content, the Prydwen and Institute will need to be intact. Stealing heartsAs I’ve done so, I’ve come to admire what Thief gets right, rather than bemoan what it gets wrong. Like the previous game in the series, 2004’s Deadly Shadows, Thief attempts to expand its stealthy play into an open world scenario.
