Day two of the Overwatch World Cup is underway and it’s time for the top four teams to face off for a shot at the Finals. The final match of day one was one of the tournament’s most anticipated series as South Korea took on the United States. South Korea will take on France in the second of today’s semifinals. Her right hand, and alt-fire, does long range damage (think a lower damage, less locked-on Symmetra beam) that heals and replenishes Moira’s biotic energy. Despite that, I already know Moira is going to be a high skill floor, high skill cap monster of a character for players to master. I suspect that casual players are going to struggle to sink their teeth into Moira — she is definitely not a replacement

The day has finally come, as the top eight teams are set to square off against one another in the 2017 Overwatch World Cup. Just after this year’s BlizzCon gets underway, the finest national teams in the world will compete for the title of World Champion. The tournament’s first day at BlizzCon will feature both the quarterfinals and semifinals as the top eight teams are cut down to just four, to determine who will play in tomorrow’s Finals and third place match. The Overwatch League has gained its second Los Angeles franchise with the announcement that the LA Gladiators will be joining the league. The Los Angeles Gladiators enter the arena. LA Gladiators will make their official roster announcement soon, according to the press release. Another team has been added to the Overwatch League roster with the announcement of the Florida Mayhem earlier today. The Florida Mayhem are the eighth American team to be announced for the Overwatch League and will be primarily run through the Misfits Gaming esports brand. For Mayhem, though, their primary color will be yellow, with red and black as their accents. The latest Overwatch League team has been revealed as New York Excelsior, or NYXL. Among the roster will be star player Park “Saebyeolbe” Jong Yeol, and Yeon-oh “Fl0w3R” Hwang will join the team in the second season of the Overwatch League.
