Like the last major games to get Switch ports, like Skyrim, there will likely be some compromises to make with the port. According to Nintendo Japan, Dark Souls Remastered graphics will be adjusted to the console, which likely refers to the game seeing a reduction in resolution and frame rate to its counterparts.
