gamezone wrote a new post, Incoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 microtransactions allow for personal customization, on the site GoGame.com 13 years, 8 months ago
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will soon offer in-game purchases for what Activision is calling Micro Items. These microtransactions, in short, will consist as “either personal customizations or nice little luxuries,” according to Activision’s Dan Amrich. With a game as competitive as Black Ops 2, Amrich was sure to point out that none of these Micro Items will “affect gameplay.” Rounding out the list of offerings will be the Nuketown 2025 Zombie Map, previously included when you order the Black Ops

Taking a cue from their introductory video, Sony didn’t build a box. Consumer-centric and developer-inspired, they slowly eased into the PlayStation 4 announcement. Mark Cerny, Lead System Architect, said that Sony started this process early in the PlayStation 3’s lifecycle. That said, the team had several goals for the PS4:Nothing between you and the gameFluidly connect to a larger worldWhat do developers wantSony finagled their way around the topic in 2008, resulting in a console that’s by gam

A new report, or rumor rather, has raised speculation that Microsoft and Sony could reveal new consoles — presumably the Xbox 720 and PS4, respectively — in late March 2013. The platform holders are expected to hold their own individual “Apple-style” press conferences sometime near the Game Developers Conference. In the latest issue of GameInformer, the magazine claims “We hear that both Sony and Microsoft are targeting special Apple-style press conferences to unveil their platforms near the Gam

gamezone wrote a new post, This special 3DS Fire Emblem bundle could be ours soon, on the site GoGame.com 13 years, 10 months ago
For those of us stuck in the U.S., it feels like every other month that Japan receives some cool-looking handheld bundle. This time, we might get one of our own. An ad that supposedly appeared in the latest issue of Game Informer teases a new 3DS model custom-designed to match the upcoming Fire Emblem: Awakening, which releases February 4. If it’s legitimate, we should see it the bundle hit shelves then. I’d buy it, but I’m still holding out for the Dragon Quest edition.

The PC version of Sine Mora is pretty cheap across multiple outlets right now. That said, it’s cheapest on Green Man Gaming, where you can snag it for a deliciously low $1.99. It should be noted that Sine Mora is already available for $2.49, which is cheap in its own right. There’s no exact word on how long this enticing sale will last, so if you’ve been meaning to play Sine Mora on the PC, now’s the time to do so. gamezone wrote a new post, Review: Pid is a beautiful yet underwhelming puzzle platformer that’s easy to adore and difficult to enjoy, on the site GoGame.com 13 years, 11 months ago
Such is the case with Pid, an undeniably charming and clearly lovingly crafted puzzle platformer from developer Might and Delight. That said, Pid employs a nicely paced method of storytelling and provides a plot that’s actually interesting and never overbearing. This is essential to progressing through the game’s world, collecting hidden trinkets, and solving puzzles. Pid is the type of game that requires you to trickily maneuver Kurt in ways that are incredibly difficult. Aside from the visual

gamezone wrote a new post, It’s Pretty Fun to Smash Wall Street With a Huge Robot., on the site GoGame.com 14 years ago
This game is pretty fun overall. The first level seems to be just a tutorial and feels pretty slow and had quite a bit of down time there. Overall I really like Wall Street Titan. It’s touchscreen controls are pretty darn responsive compared to some games I’ve played. I’d buy this game again as it’s great for those times where you’ve got a couple minutes at a time to spare.

Originally available on Steam last week, Frontline Tactics has just made its way to the App Store. Frontline Tactics features strategy gameplay across single-player and multiplayer modes. Players who download it to their iOS devices will be treated to 1,000 credits for in-game purchases. If you’re looking for some strategy gaming on your iPhone or iPad, the nonexistent price warrants you to at least check out Frontline Tactics. As for me, I’ll be kicking myself because I don’t own an iOS device

The sandbox zombie survival game CastleMiner Z is still the best-selling game on Xbox Live Indie Games, and now it’s pushed over 1 million copies in only 10 months. DigitalDNA’s voxel game allows players to build and mine a hostile world, crafting items such as guns and ammunition out of materials in the environment. Conan O’Brien’s “Clueless Gamer” segment is simply brilliant. For those unfamiliar, during this bit, the late night host, who has no video game knowledge whatsoever, tackles some of the industry’s biggest titles and slaps a meaningless rating on them. While creating his Khajiit character, Mr. Buttons, Conan hilariously pointed out the “way too many choices” available in the game. “For a few minutes there we were in a wonderful, new world and now I’m doing my taxes,” he joked. It’s just one of th

Yesterday’s white board drawing of potential characters in the next Super Mario Bros. might be a fairly accurate depiction of what’s to come when the next installment arrives on Wii U and 3DS. A lot of the characters shown have already been a part of the roster, and game creator Masahiro Sakurai has warned fans not to expect the roster to grow by much, if at all. Citing “game balance” as the primary issue of a growing roster, Sakurai said it’s more of a “change of direction” that’s needed for th

There aren’t too many free games available for Club Nintendo members this month. In fact, the pleasantly hot month of July only sees two titles for Nintendo fans who have some Coins they’d like to redeem. I’m talking the original Nintendo 64 title, which has gone on to become a favorite among many gamers. Oddly enough, Club Nintendo members only have until July 22 to redeem their Coins for this download. If I had to make a recommendation, I would definitely tell you to get some Mario Tennis all
