  • Ever since its release on the PlayStation Network and Steam almost two years ago, Rocket League has been a critical and commercial darling among video games. Over the past year and a half, Rocket League has evolved past its initial premise by adding new modes such as Hoops, Snow Day and Rumble whilst providing awesome cosmetic additions; their recent Hot Wheels DLC being their most successful add-on ever. With more and more players jumping onto the game, Psyonix isn’t nearly ready to move onto a

  • That said, much like the original game, Shards of Darkness is both incredibly focused yet limited in the scope of what it does well. As always, here’s a breakdown of what you need to know about Styx: Shards of Darkness. But in some cases with Styx: Shards of Darkness, I just ended up wishing that Stealth was all this game was about. Suffice it to say; if you can overlook its flaws, there’s a lot of fun to be had with Styx: Shards of Darkness. Ultimately, Styx: Shards of Darkness should please fa

  • As usual, let’s take a look at what you need to know about The Crow’s Eye. The Crow’s Eye has a very intriguing premise, but it’s a bit bogged down by hit or miss execution. The Crow’s Eye feels like it has a bit of an identity crisis. For the most part, it works just fine; it’s just not something you would have expected The Crow’s Eye to throw at you. The Crow’s Eye comes with a very basic crafting system that you’ll mostly use to make First Aid items.

The Case: Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is like discovering a Leonardo da Vinci sketch that a child has colored over with crayons, beneath globs of brightly colored wax is something of value, but it’s not immediately apparent at first glance. There’s a lot of metaphorical wax here, so let’s get started. The Panty Panic Po

  • No Man’s Sky’s Path Finder update was the largest content addition the game had seen to date, particularly with the addition of land vehicles. Naturally, when a new content update is released, bugs always tend to crop up and update 1.24 serves to rectify some them. As usual, Hello Games dropped the Patch Notes on their official website, and here they are. No Man’s Sky is currently available on PS4, Steam, and GOG.com. Source: [Hello Games]

  • Yesterday saw the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and with it, the release of patch 1.04. Unfortunately, the patch didn’t come with in-depth details just a description that it contained “various improvements and bug fixes.” The facial animations have been hit with so much criticism, that it even lead to an EA employee getting harassed for detailing that they were the lead facial animator for Andromeda. • Touchdown: Armor League is an all-new game that takes aspects of American Football, and mashes it together with traditional arena shooter genre mechanics in 6v6 matches to make something that is unlike anything we’ve seen to date. Rocket League is one of this generation’s most influential games, and it’s only natural that Action Sports games would begin to take off. Enter Touchdown: Armor League, who launched their Kickstarter campaign earlier today with a goal of $50,000. Ares Games’ Producer a

  • Mass Effect: Andromeda’s got some problems, not just in the gameplay department (which should be priority #1), but the facial animations have undergone the more intensive scrutiny which in many cases has reached outrageous proportions. Jonathan Cooper is a former animator on the Mass Effect series now working at Naughty Dog and took the time to break down some of the differences in processes between how something like Uncharted and a big game like Mass Effect come together. Then, Cooper gave a b

  • Leave it to Alan Tudyk to improv so well that a director keeps it in the movie. Even more impressive, he improvised while wearing a mo-cap suit and they build the special effects around it to fit. Reported by ComicBook.com, the scene in question has Kaytoo (The repurposed Imperial droid) pretending to escort Cassian and Jyn off of Jedha. When the stormtrooper questions Kaytoo, he smacks Cassian to sell the scene to the trooper. Cassian is a bit of a jerk up to this point in the movie, so the sma

  • These vehicles could only be bought after a heist was completed. But in the latest update, a “buy it now” option has appeared. This makes having to get a group together to do a heist your not particularly interested in just to get a car you want. But completing heists and unlocking these vehicles does still come with a benefit. The cost of those vehicles (in-game currency of course) is significantly cheaper after the heist is completed, making completing heists still worth it.

  • Oh… Well, you’re getting it anyway because Method Man’s voice is now an optional voice pack for the game. So why Method Man? There’s also a new UK Special Forces voice pack featuring Craig Fairbrass as Ghost from Modern Warfare 2. The Ghost Voice pack is free, but you can only be graced by Method Man’s presence for $3.99. Maybe Method Man isn’t our thing, but it’s cool that he made an appearance as a voice over for Call of Duty.

  • Star Wars Episode VIII will, in fact, be titled The Last Jedi. The most striking thing about this image is the fact that the Star Wars logo is red rather than the traditional yellow. However, that refers to a character known as Jax Pavan and is set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The book is also a part of the non-canon legends line, and the character of Jax Pavan has seemingly been mirrored in Star Wars Rogue’s Kanan Jarrus.
