Michael Condrey, the chief operating and development officer of Sledgehammer Games, took to the latest issue of Edge (via Reddit) to discuss a number of details on Call of Duty: WWII. While Condrey spoke on a few elements of the game, the main points focused on the game’s pacing. According to Condrey, Call of Duty: WWII will not be featuring all of the futuristic elements from prior games, but will be more slowly paced (as expected). We spent a lot of time on map design, and there’s a lot of fun

Shadow of War may be delayed until October, but Monolith has promised that the delay will only make Middle-earth: Shadow of War even better. We’re embarrassed to even show it, our E3 build is light years ahead. The vast increase in RPG elements and customization should have the same polish as the original game, Shadow of Mordor. Shadow of War will be showcased most likely at Microsoft’s E3 Briefing next Sunday at 2PM Pacific Time. Stay tuned to GameZone for more news on Shadow of War and the ent

At the time, the game was detailed to be named Pokemon Stars and would be a combination of Pokemon Sun and Moon. Now, Nintendo has officially announced a Pokémon Direct for June 6th at 7:00 a.m. PT/10:00 a.m.. Pokemon Stars?

It goes without saying that we don’t know a lot about the upcoming title from Kojima Productions, Death Stranding. Norman Reedus, who’s set to play the protagonist of Death Stranding, teased some information about black hole physics. This begs the question: Is it related to gameplay mechanics in Death Stranding? The post in question from Reedus’ Instagram has a naked man (Don’t worry, all you can see is butt) being sucked into a black hole. But black holes have been hinted at heavily in Death St

The trailer for FIFA 18 officially dropped (along with details on the special game versions) and it came with a bit of bad news for everyone interested in purchasing the game for anything other than an Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It was teased that EA was testing the waters on getting FIFA on the Nintendo Switch, citing it as a “custom built” experience, but it looks like that ‘custom built’ means a missing mode and different game engine. Hidden in the fine print of the FIFA 18 trailer is a

According to the leaker, Salulard, Bethesda Game Studios – the devs behind Elder Scrolls and Fallout, not the publisher Bethesda Softworks, will be revealing Starfield at E3. They’re getting a little wacky with the lore and using “Elder Scrolls time wounds” to justify lore inconsistencies. “Basically, Fallout is the beginning of the timeline, Starfield is the middle, and Elder Scrolls is Far Future. Salulard went on detail that we might be seeing preproduction Elder Scrolls VI and conceptual for

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is simultaneously one of the most intriguing and expensive games ever to come out of crowdfunding. One of the biggest lingering questions with Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been its final release date. Recently, publisher Deep Silver posted a trailer on their YouTube channel which points to a “Global Announcement” coming on Friday, June 9th. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open-world medieval RPG that eschews from fantasy elements like Magic and instead chooses to go fo

THQ Nordic has pulled out a PC RPG from their past and has brought it to modern PCs. Silver, a real-time and fast-paced RPG that released back in 1999 as a response to the JRPG craze, is now available on Steam for the meager price of $5.99. Silver was developed with methods similar to that of Final Fantasy VII with pre-rendered 2D backgrounds, manga-style character design, and console-style gameplay. Here’s the full feature list for Silver, courtesy of the game’s Steam page. Sweep the mouse to y

With Guardians of the Galaxy just getting under way, it looks as though a second season of Minecraft Story Mode will be the next game that the narrative adventure developer will be pushing out. A rating post on the Austrailian Classification Board shows that an entry for “Minecraft Story Mode: Season 2 – Episode 1: Hero in Residence” has been approved as of June 2nd. That said, Minecraft: Story Mode isn’t exactly considered to be the studio’s best work, but if they can manage to get it up to the

Fans of RPGs should have a lot to look forward to with THQ Nordic’s upcoming slate of games. Last year, we got our first look at the new vision for God of War as the opener to the Sony E3 2016 Press Conference. Concrete details since then have been mostly sparse outside of the fact that development was “going well” and that the game is likely coming in 2018. Much like Horizon Zero Dawn last year, Sony is using a giant mural in Downtown LA to advertise God of War PS4. The mural is currently in the process of being created, but the God of War title is clear. The mural appears to be in the

It sounds like Star Wars: Battlefront II will be mixing things up for their official gameplay reveal, drawing on multiple eras to create a 40-player battle as part of its worldwide gameplay premier. Clone Troopers and Battle Droids will be duking it out with Darth Maul and Rey making up the Heroes that will cut through enemy ranks at will. The match set-up is your typical Assault/Defend scenario, with the Clone Troopers protecting the capital from the growing onslaught of Separatist Battle Droid

It seems as though people have gotten the wrong impression when it was said that five prequel shows for HBO’s mega-drama, Game of Thrones were being written. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bloys talks about the process of the prequels, Season 7, and when we might expect the final season to air. The bar set by [Benioff and Weiss] is so high that my hope is to get one show that lives up to it. In wrapping up the interview, Bloys described Season 7’s premier as “amazing, ” and he couldn
