gamezone wrote a new post, Latest Nioh Patch makes Organizing Loot less of a grind, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 3 months ago
Nioh is far and away the best Souls-like game to release in 2017, of which there is a rapidly growing number in one sense or another. While it mostly emulates its core game mechanics, it does take an established formula, puts its own spin on it, and does it very well. That said, the game’s latest patch makes an addition that others in the genre may need to take note of going forward. The game now has an option that allows players to choose what class of item drop that the Take button picks up. T

gamezone wrote a new post, DotA 2 gets new update with features designed to welcome new players, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 3 months ago
New players often find it hard to stick with the game when they are booted from matches by veteran players who don’t want to play with them. New players will only be able to play from a select group of heroes that Valve’s internal testing has shown to be conducive to helping new players learn the game. This restriction will only last on a player’s first 25 matches, at which point, the game unlocks the full roster. The second addition is probably the more important one as it leverages DotA 2’s be

gamezone wrote a new post, Review: Namco Museum brings back the classics, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 3 months ago
So it’s no surprise that Bandai Namco would release their Namco Museum game for the Nintendo Switch eShop. With 11 classic games, some popular, some obscure, it’s a trip down memory lane, the question is, is it a trip worth taking? Playability and OptionsIf there’s one thing that Namco Museum is not lacking it is options. Seeing how this version of Museum is on the Switch, it makes sense that Namco includes an exclusive Nintendo game. I think had Bandai Namco included a few games like the aforem

gamezone wrote a new post, Preview: LawBreakers breathes fresh air into a genre of stale games, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 3 months ago
Prior to launching the beta for the game, I had little interest in the game. After loading up a match, selecting one of many characters, and you’re thrust into the thick of it. On my first match, I got absolutely destroyed but in my second match, I got 47 kills and was the best player in the match. The fact that there’s so much to gawk at in the beta alone shows immense promise for LawBreakers. If you’re looking for a satisfying new shooter to get hooked on, LawBreakers is for you.

By now, it should come as no surprise that the Chinese would create their own version of a popular phenomenon. This time, some gameplay has surfaced from ChinaJoy, essentially the Chinese version of E3, of a game called Sinner, and if you are a fan of the Souls genre, be prepared for a little deja vu. Fortunately, Sinner appears to be a much more sluggish and less satisfying version of Dark Souls than anything else, so from a competitive standpoint, there’s not much to fear. Since China doesn’t

As it turns out, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered did indeed release this past week alongside the Xbox One version despite previous feedback of poor optimization. And wouldn’t you know it, the standalone version appears to suffer from those same issues. In the two days that the standalone has been for sale, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered currently sits at a paltry 36% positive Steam user rating, resulting in the designation of “Mostly Negative.” Here are a few snippets of the Ste

With the news that Dragon Quest XI is coming West, Square Enix has released some footage of the game running on a PS Vita courtesy of the PlayStation 4 Remote Play feature. The footage comes from the Japanese PlayStation Blog, so suffice it to say; the trailer is entirely in Japanese. It’s quite a contrast to how the game runs on the Nintendo 3DS, though to be fair that’s an entirely different engine running the same game directly on the hardware itself, where as the Remote Play feature is simpl
