  • The Last of Us has accrued quite the following since Naughty Dog originally released it upon the world four years ago. As the hardcore faithful normally do, they’ve been breaking down every nugget from the game’s trailer that was released during last year’s PlayStation Experience. As it turns out, there is mounting evidence that Seattle, Washington will be at least one of the game’s locations according to a Redditor who goes by falconbox. • Last year, Naughty Dog wrapped up Nathan Drake’s nearly decade long story with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Naughty Dog confirmed Ellie will be the playable character this time around but other than that, we know next to nothing. Sadly, it would seem that the game is still in the very early days of production. GameZone can confirm through sources that as of E3 2017, the game’s production only consisted of the trailer, the first draft of the script and some design docs suggesting it may still be i

  • Over the last week or so, Dragon Quest XI has trickled its way into the news, between its release over in Japan and the announcement that it would be coming West. They did a side-by-side analysis of the game on both a standard PS4 and a PS4 Pro, and the results are pretty solid on both sides. Load times are considerably short and the game clocks in at about 900p on a standard PS4 and upscales to 1728p on the Pro. On top of the performance analysis, it is nice to get some new gameplay footage of

  • Now is the time when other games that were at the show get a little time to shine, now that the dust has settled. One such game is Hunt: Showdown, by Crytek. A lot has happened since 2014, when the game was first shown off, take for example the game was originally a 3rd-person shooter and was very much a horde mode-based game. Hunt is now a first-person shooter, a genre that CryTek knows very well, but it’s also something new and refreshing, a completely new take on multiplayer shooters. Current

  • But you have to give Epic Games some credit for sticking with it, and finally getting Fortnite into the hands of players. There’s no argument to be made for any unfair advantage either since the game is purely a co-op experience. In terms, of how it plays, Fortnite feels good, but its mission design quickly becomes predictable, and the co-op rules can’t quite keep it together. For a game that prides itself on being a co-op experience, Fortnite doesn’t always do a great job of encouraging that so

Unfortunately, even though Xur brought Sunbreakers, he forgot something… He forgot to bring a weapon. • So yeah, Titanfall 2 kinda had a hard time standing up to the competition but it was a great game. Speaking to Gamespot, Respawn’s Vince Zampella has admited that the October release date may have been a fatal error. “The game was successful, it sold well, but it didn’t quite sell as well as it should have,” he said. ‘We’re doing more Titanfall,’ [sic] is the quote I’m supposed to say,” he said. • This was odd because, until this point, every Mario game had received an E for Everyone rating. Now, it appears that Nintendo has changed the final box art of the game, despite the fact that it’s been plastered all over the place, as a marketing tool. In the lower left corner of the older box (which I’ve circled to make it easier), Mario can be seen sporting a large sombrero, but in the newer box, that image has been replaced with a picture of Mario underwater with a snorkel. • The vanilla game was a bit… lackluster but Bungie made up for it with extensive amounts of DLC that added new story content, raids, and more. It wasn’t ideal but at least Destiny fans had more content to enjoy for several years. With Destiny 2 fast approaching, it sounds like Bungie and Activision are taking a similar stance. While the main game seems to have a decent amount of content right now, Activision ended their recent earnings call by saying that the DLC could potentially be just as vi
