  • Game developer Sold Out has announced a new game called Immortal: Unchained, a Souls-inspired third-person shooter with RPG mechanics. It’s being developed as a hardcore game similar to Dark Souls, following the concept of death as a learning experience. But one thing that didn’t sit well in Dark Souls with all players was the way story was told. Immortal: Unchained seems to be more narrative based. Immortal: Unchained will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2018.

  • Welp, there’s nothing like a little identity politics-related “controversy” to get you through your day. Fortunately, this time around, it doesn’t appear to be too serious, as some self-described “nit-picking” from a Redditor has caused a thread to blow up in popularity, prompting a half-serious (if that) response from Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan. The issue stems from a sign in the trailer for the Map (embedded above) showing a fast food joint with a sign that reads “take out.” Apparently, the thread
