gamezone wrote a new post, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has broken the record for most concurrent players on Steam, on the site GoGame.com 8 years, 9 months ago
If you don’t already own PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, you are officially missing out on history being made. Bluehole’s Battle Royale shooter has officially passed Valve’s own DotA 2 for the most concurrent players all-time with 1,348,374 according to Steam Charts (via Polygon). The game just recently broke the one million player mark of simultaneous players about nine days ago, so to grow to this level so soon is undoubtedly incredible. This is not to mention that the previous record holder, D

It was a long time coming, but Gearbox has announced that Battleborn will be seeing its last new content after the upcoming Fall Update. The news was announced on Gearbox’s forums by Creative Director Randy Varnell, who also mentioned that is being moved over to a “highly anticipated but unannounced game,” which we can pretty much assume is the next Borderlands game. “As of this week, there will be no more Battleplans and there is currently no planned content after the Fall Update,” Vernell said

gamezone wrote a new post, Quick thoughts on All Walls Must Fall, a time-bending Strategy game that presents a new take on XCOM, on the site GoGame.com 8 years, 9 months ago
All Walls Must Fall is many different things, which makes sense given its innate desire to inherently be different. But then again, every game is inspired by another, so All Walls Must Fall is no different in that regard. It’s just a relief that the combination of game systems it tackles mix together for a palatable experience that challenges the mind and efficiently uses its limited resources to keep things from getting stale. But with each movement you make, so too do the enemies around you, w

The new weekend has brought a new (and some old) slate of Steam sales. This weekend the main highlights are that the Dishonored franchise is on sale starting at 25% off. Tom Clancy’s The Division is also half off as its free weekend of play is already well underway. There are also a few repeats with NieR: Automata and Skyrim: Special Edition, so if you didn’t grab them last weekend, you’ve got another opportunity. As always here’s the breakdown of the highlights:If you want a more comprehensive

gamezone wrote a new post, Cliff Bleszinski says LawBreakers’ struggles have been “humbling,” will try to be “less of a dick” on social media, on the site GoGame.com 8 years, 9 months ago
LawBreakers is not a bad game by any means, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Cliff Bleszinski and his team at Boss Key are finding out just how hard it is with the game’s player base struggling to keep up the numbers, particularly on Steam. In an interview with Gamespot, Bleszinski said that the experience has been “humbling” for him as a result of his reputation for being “very cocky and very brash” on social media. I’m going to continue to iterate on this game, continue to add to it. Despite

In a new post on the official Forza Motorsport website, developer Turn 10 revealed that the game would be 95 GB at launch, 45 of which will be contained on the Blu-Ray disc. That means you better be ready to clear out at least 50 GB of space before launch. Additionally, Turn 10 revealed the final achievem

The Xbox One X is nearing its November 7th release and now the basically official drink and snack brand of gaming, Mountain Dew and Doritos, are teaming up with Xbox for a massive Xbox One X giveaway. Like many times before, Mountain Dew and Doritos are teaming up with Xbox for a promotion campaign but this one might actually be worth keeping an eye on, especially if those are your go-to brands anyway. Thousands of Xbox One X’s will be auctioned during this campaign and the codes will, according

As Destiny 2 gobbles up many a gamer’s hours, it was inevitable that someone somewhere would stumble upon an Easter Egg or two. Here it is:The intro was backed up on Twitter by Bungie senior writer Mallory Schleif, who said that she was surprised that the intro wasn’t cut and that it “broke” the “consummate pro” Lance Reddick during recording. HAHAthe odds of triggering this intro are so low… and i am still astounded that it wasn’t cut. Bungie recorded the moment in the studio when it happened

gamezone wrote a new post, Bungie Explains Why They’re Removing the “Kekistan”-Looking Gauntlets, on the site GoGame.com 8 years, 9 months ago
Bungie was quick to announce that the gauntlets would be removed, but today they’ve expanded upon their reasoning in longer form. They announced that they will be removing the element from the armor piece, while leaving the armor itself intact, presumably in the 1.0.1.3 update. In a later update, they will be removing the same symbol from the UI icon and preview screens, “Scrubbing it from the game altogether.” That said, we do recognize that the design in question is close enough to warrant rem

Surprisingly though, some of these games didn’t make as big of a splash as you may have expected. Thanks to the August NPD report, we can see that Grand Theft Auto V slaughtered almost all of the competition despite being a four year old game. “In addition, Grand Theft Auto V is the all-time best-selling game by both revenue and units in tracked sales across PC, console and portable with digital and packaged combined.”Interestingly, former Gears of War developer Cliff Blezinski’s new FPS, LawBre
