Update: Activision confirmed that this system has not been implemented into any of their games at this time. If their strategy is successful, it’ll encourage the weaker player to purchase microtransactions to obtain more powerful gear. “For instance, the microtransaction engine may match a more expert/marquee player with a junior player to encourage the junior player to make game-related purchases of items possessed/used by the marquee player. A junior player may wish to emulate the marquee play

Loot boxes are two of the most prominent trigger words among gamers these days as AAA publishers continue to add them to their games. Ubisoft has elected to reintroduce them into Assassin’s Creed: Origins, a single player only experience, which is something that’s not sitting well with more vocal gamers. In a pre-launch livestream that aired earlier today, Ubisoft confirmed that Origins’ loot boxes would only be purchasable with in-game currency. What the clip doesn’t answer is whether or not pu

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon’s pre-launch hype has been considerably quieter than Sun and Moon’s and for a good reason. Main Story with different development and there’s a new post-game content after beating Pokemon League. One of the Pokemon players can encounter is Mewtwo. Two big things from this list stand out, the “new post-game content” and the fact that Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon’s script is twice the length of Sun/Moon’s. gamezone wrote a new post, EA Access will remove a game for the first time tomorrow, on the site GoGame.com 8 years, 8 months ago
Contrary to what they said when the service launched, EA will go ahead with their plans to remove FIFA 14 from their EA Access subscription service due to the fact that the company will no longer support the online portion of the game. The game will still be playable offline, but you won’t be able to play online multiplayer matches or Ultimate Team mode. Given that EA still has FIFA 15, 16, and 17 still in the vault, players won’t be hurting for options to play FIFA with. However, there’s still

Many have wondered just how successful single player games are compared to their much larger multiplayer competitors and well, we may have an idea of how successful Visceral’s games really were. Despite critical acclaim, Dead Space 2 was not a success for the studio. The game cost $60 million to make (without taking account marketing which can sometimes be double the cost of development and the cuts retailers and platform holders take) and sold 4 million copies. Dead Space 2 cost 60 Million doll

Despite the controversy surrounding Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, the game’s marketing has continued on and the game’s launch trailer is no different than the rest of the game’s advertisements (and gameplay) – it’s filled with Nazi killing. The launch trailer doesn’t simply have Nazi killing, it has tons of headshots, KKK member headshots, robot Nazi headshots, and more to the beat of some rock song. This time though, the trailer goes one step further and brings an enemy back from the dead –

Three years ago, we the Japanese-built giant mech robot, Kuratas, was unveiled.
