Yesterday, EA decided to cut the cost of heroes in Star Wars: Battlefront 2 by 75% after access to the game through the EA Access 10-hour trial revealed that the top heroes were locked behind 40 hours of play each. Developer Sledgehammer planned to launch a 2XP event over the past weekend, but it was quickly noticed by players that their XP wasn’t doubled. Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey noted this happy accident, stating on Twitter that the studio accidentally triggered 3XP instead of 2XP. We accidentally triggered 3XP.
