gamesradar wrote a new post, Escaping real-life woes and taking refuge in the whimsical but still weirdly woeful Stardew Valley, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 3 months ago
This is why I was so attracted to Stardew Valley. I don’t know how to change it and now everyone who meets me is going to think I’m a moron. I also feel a little bad taking all of this land from my grandfather at the beginning of the game. There are so many things about Stardew Valley that I wish could apply to real life. If only there were a crossover between Stardew Valley and Overcooked where I could make an array of meals with all my veg.

Xur, Destiny’s travelling weekend Exotic trader, is back. What they do, specifically, is give you the Explosive Pyre perk – which adds explosive chain-damage to hammer kills – for free. Obsidian Mind, you see, has a delightful little habit of charging your Nova Bomb with kills from your Nova Bomb. Reload after a kill – which obviously won’t rake long – and your next burst will be more powerful and more accurate. Telesto is excellent, and cares not for your rules or the pitifully conventional thi

A Marvel movie just isn’t a Marvel movie without a Stan Lee cameo. It’s no surprise to see Stan Lee turn up yet again for a crowd-pleasing cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 but what is surprising is that it confirms a fan theory about Stan Lee’s cameos that’s been doing the rounds for some time. Stan Lee makes an appearance not once, but twice in Guardians 2. The first sighting of Stan Lee is during a cosmic leap starring Rocket and Yondu, and the second time we glimpse Stan Lee coming in an en

Emilia Clarke is often stuck between a rock and a hard place filled with spoilers upon spoilers. First she has to keep schtum about Game of Thrones season 7, and now the Han Solo movie is something to remain tight-lipped about. But which of the pair scares Clarke the most when it comes to the possibility of accidentally revealing something she shouldn’t? It sounds like Disney and the Han Solo movie holds the upper hand in the spoiler secrecy stakes…Speaking to the Los Angeles Daily News, Clarke

Earlier this week, Zoe Saldana seemingly revealed the title of Avengers 4 would be Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet, but that doesn’t appear to be the case after all – at least according to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Gunn told Yahoo UK that Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet is “not the title,” and indicated that the comment from his Guardians actress was simply an accident. “I’ll talk to Zoe today, but I would imagine that is just Zoe misspeaking and saying ‘Infinity Gauntlet’ instead of ‘Infinity War’.”

Spoilers ahead for Game of Thrones , so if you somehow haven’t caught up with the show yet, I’m about to reveal multiple character’s fates. Last season of Game of Thrones featured the resurrection of Kit Harington’s Jon Snow, but it also included the death of a fan-favorite character: Hodor, the beloved servant of the Stark family who carried the crippled Bran on his back for years as they searched for the Three-Eyed Raven. The Belfast Telegraph caught up with actor Kristian Nairn, who played th

The very best marketing slogans, jingles, and catchphrases have this eerie way of burrowing into your skull and staying there forever. That kind of frighteningly effective messaging holds true for video game marketing blitzes as well, and over the years we’ve been bombarded with quite a few gaming slogans we’re likely to still remember when we’re in our 70s. Nowhere in the original Pokemon games does anyone actually exclaim “Gotta catch ’em all!” It also inspired two less memorable slogans: “Now

Those of you who actually played 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, my heart goes out to you and the world thanks you for your sacrifice. In the latest issue of Edge magazine, multiple developers who worked on the 2009 game shared their memories of the project. But 50 Cent’s son said, ‘No, I want helicopters,’ and 50 Cent turned around and said, ‘You heard him. Love it or hate it, I think plenty would agree that The Walking Dead season 7 was a slower burn than previous seasons. Showrunner Scott Gimple says that won’t be the case in season 8 though. And while the show doesn’t follow the comics verbatim, it is getting awful close to the All Out War story arcs. If you want to potentially spoil yourself now, look for The Walking Dead volumes 20 and 21. Gimple isn’t the only one getting audiences primed for action; Andrew Lincoln likewise said that TWD seas

That, my friend, is what it’s traditionally like to play Marvel vs. Capcom. You’ll end up in hospital)But this Marvel vs. Capcom is different. This is, after all, the first Marvel vs. Capcom game that will be released after the explosion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I’ve played a good few hours of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite now. And, making a big departure from Capcom fighters past, Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is promising a full-fat, cinematic story campaign, ready to go on day one.

It happens so, so quickly you’ll barely see it, but once you’ve played the demo once you’ll know what to look out for. Perhaps the best use of the hack in this opening hour demo is reprogramming turrets to help you counter any random Mimics that chase you. Make your own ammoAt the en
