gamesradar wrote a new post, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT announced for PS4, and… look, you really need to watch the trailer, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Final Fantasy is no stranger to spin-offs. Even so, the Dissidia series is a unique bunch, turning the JRPG franchise into stylish, over-the-top fighting games. It all started with Dissidia Final Fantasy for the PSP in 2009, and now Square Enix is back with Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, coming to PS4 in early 2018. Instead of the 1v1 fights of the first two games, NT is a more open 3v3 brawler. Speaking of Cloud, Square Enix is currently hiring for development of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

gamesradar wrote a new post, Fantastic Beasts 2 will flash back to the past, casting underway for teen versions of Newt and Dumbledore, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Pottermore reports that Fantastic Beasts 2 is currently casting for teen versions of several major characters, including dear old Dumbledore. The casting call also includes teenage versions for our hero Newt Scamander, his love interest Leta Lestrange, and main bad guy Gellert Grindelwald. We can at least infer some clues about what the casting of the others means for the sequel’s plot, though. What’s interesting is that we know Dumbledore’s sister was killed when her brother had a duel with Gri

gamesradar wrote a new post, Xbox is teasing ‘true power’ for its E3 2017 conference and Scorpio reveal, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
We’re expecting plenty of new Scorpio info from the Xbox E3 2017 conference and Microsoft has already started teasing with a series of videos promising we’re going to ‘feel true power.’ It’s likely that this could be the Scorpio slogan, and a sly pop at Sony’s PS4 Pro. The Xbox Scorpio/PS4 Pro stats comparison shows Microsoft’s new machine is a beast in terms of pure numbers, but it’s how it’s used that’ll be the real proof of the new tech. As Sony’s Pro has shown, ‘the same games but slightly p

gamesradar wrote a new post, If Nintendo wants to win E3 2017… it needs to be itself, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
After years of wandering the Wii U wilderness, putting out great games on a console no one owned and struggling to find its identity in a post-Wii world, Nintendo is finally back where it needs to be. By simply giving the world a broadcast during E3, rather than a managed stage show, Nintendo is embodying the spirit by which it makes consoles. All that talk of strategy and messaging aside, the one thing Nintendo really has to do at this E3 to walk away smelling of roses is announce games. A coup

gamesradar wrote a new post, Trying the original Mass Effect for the first time and getting lost in the vastness of space… and corridors, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Up until now I’ve never played a Mass Effect game. With Mass Effect: Andromeda recently arriving with a new galactic adventure it felt like the perfect time to go back to the start to see where all the fuss began. Part of the appeal of Mass Effect is the relationships you form but I constantly find myself putting my foot in it – picking a response that sounds reasonable but then something far harsher comes out of Shepard’s mouth. While the story feels a little wobbly and the environments are a b

It wasn’t just the stiff and wonky animations that players lamented in Mass Effect: Andromeda – a lackluster character creation system, the shortage of same-sex romance options for male Ryder characters, plus some dialogue regarding a transgender character, were also criticized. Then, on 5th January 1991, a crazy goat called Satan challenged Adam to throw an apple over a house for a bet. Naturally the Big Man was livid, and banished Adam and Eve to live in the earthly craphole we’re all still stuck in to this day. The problemThis fundamental need for things to be elsewhere manifests in video games as that most maligned of tasks: the fetch quest. We can start with the ability to tell needy people to take a hike. While technically optional, there’s a galling sense of soci
