Head still spinning from the Beyond Good & Evil 2 re-reveal at Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference? Because Beyond Good & Evil 2 is a prequel to Beyond Good & Evil 1, we want to add a lot of detail to what the world is – those names, Pey’j. So all these details are here to make people more understand the world of Beyond Good & Evil.” “In Beyond Good & Evil 2 you have space ships of different sizes. gamesradar wrote a new post, Destiny 2’s PS4-exclusive content includes a Strike, gear, a ship, an Exotic weapon, and a PvP map, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Nothing quite says “E3 2017” like the announcement of console-exclusive content, eh? Perhaps the biggest addition is a special Strike (dubbed “Lake of Shadows”) which takes place in the European Dead Zone. PlayStation players will also get access to a very sleek-looking ship called the City Apex, and the Borealis sniper rifle Exotic weapon. Last but not least, Destiny 2 players on PS4 will be able to duke it out on an exclusive PvP map, Retribution. Make sure you check out our full E3 2017 sched

gamesradar wrote a new post, PES 2018 getting an online beta in July – and Usain Bolt as a playable character, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Remember the PES 3 cover featuring referee Pierluigi Collina, or the ability to replace player faces with animal heads? However, it’s surely outdone itself by revealing that Usain Bolt is in PES 2018. Yes: as in multi-time Olympic champion – and, for most, greatest track athlete of all time – Usain Bolt. From July 20 to July 31, it’ll be possible to test out the new game in both Quick Match and Online Co-op modes. Make sure you check out our full E3 2017 schedule to stay tuned for all the detail

gamesradar wrote a new post, 9 Spider-Man stories that would make great video games, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
This event had everything a Spider-Man game needs. Like the comics, not every Spider-Man video game needs to be a massive event either. Ends of the EarthThe plot: Spider-Man has been battling the Sinister Six for almost 50 years, but this multipart story saw the team of villains pose the biggest threat yet. As someone that’s played basically every Spider-Man game in the last 20 years, I know that not every in-game interpretation of the Wallcrawler feels all that special. That wouldn’t be the cas

gamesradar wrote a new post, 7 things you may have missed in the E3 2017 Spider-Man gameplay trailer, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Here are seven of the major things you might have missed from Spider-Man’s big show-stopper. This is the most advanced Spider-Man seen in a video gameWow, talk about super-powered. We got to see the wall-crawler deploy web-ensnaring mines, use environmental takedowns, and lasso his foes around like an urban cowboy, all while cracking wise in characteristically Peter Parker fashion. Insomniac’s Spider-Man looks to be drawing a lot of cues from Rocksteady’s Arkham franchise, but who can honestly c

gamesradar wrote a new post, Embracing the Art of Battle in For Honor’s melee combat, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
And I have fallen for the Art of Battle. Perhaps it’s stretching the scope of this feature, dedicated to “the small things that make great games tick”, to write about a melee combat system. (And I have so many questions: How do they keep the population up when there’s so much death? Everything else is set dressing for the Art of Battle. It’s easy to learn the basics, to develop an instinct for moving that analog stick to block and attack.

gamesradar wrote a new post, Star Wars: The Last Jedi might see Luke Skywalker sharing an island with a 9-foot sea creature – and here’s what it could look like, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Star Wars is nothing without its weird and wonderful creatures and aliens, from the Cantina band to womp rats to even (*shudder*) the Ewoks. And Star Wars: The Last Jedi is no exception, as a possible new sea creature has emerged from the depths – and I can’t tell if it’s cute or wants to kill me. StarWarsNewsNet have reportedly glimpsed photos of the sea creature on Ahch-To (Luke’s current digs) and, through the skilled hand of artist Eli Hyder, have created a composite image of… holy-moly wh

gamesradar wrote a new post, Game of Thrones season 7 has an avalanche of new images, plus a behind-the-scenes look at the show’s special effects, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
It’s not often we get a blizzard of Game of Thrones season 7images alongside a nifty behind-the-scenes video showing off what makes the special effects tick (or, in most cases, explode with fiery abandon). Entertainment Weekly have, alongside HBO, revealed a flurry of shots highlighting the major players from the next season of Thrones, which premieres July 16. There’s Jon Snow…Cersei and Jaime next to the Westeros map from the Game of Thrones season 7 trailer, as well as Cersei sat on the Iron

gamesradar wrote a new post, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 multiplayer hands-on: Still accessible, still spectacular, but this time there’s a dash of real, Battlefield depth to go with it, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Star Wars Battlefront has changed, and so far, it seems, all for the better. This is still Star Wars Battlefront, with its core mindset of immediate, accessible fun. And besides, this is a Star Wars FPS. Surely the point is to have as much cool, cinematic Star Wars stuff going on as possible, right? Star Wars: Battlefront 2, then, is a much more gratifying game to play than its predecessor.

gamesradar wrote a new post, Sony’s E3 2017 press conference was another classy, confident show, but thanks to over-familiar games, not a truly exciting one, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
That’s what I just got from Sony’s E3 2017 press conference. In terms of Sony’s first-party selection, everything is now the same cross between The Last of Us and Uncharted, settings and characters variable. More beautiful art that was rapidly starting to look like the same beautiful art I was seeing in every Sony game. And there was Horizon: The Frozen Wilds, another great-looking Sony game with more familiar third-person action and more well-rendered snow. Sony’s other great point of E3 succes

gamesradar wrote a new post, PlayStation E3 2017 Recap: Best of Sony at E3 2017, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Sony’s E3 2017 press conference has come and gone, and, well… Ubisoft’s presser is still way in the lead for best of show. Regardless, Sony had plenty of big titles to show during its lean one-hour presentation, like God of War, Days Gone, and the exclusive Spider-Man game. It’s a smart response to the way some people played Until Dawn in groups, voting how the main player should proceed. An extremely brief trailer showed Aloy, clad in her enhanced techno-armor and ready to hunt her share of r

gamesradar wrote a new post, Monster Hunter World debuts the series on PS4, as a high-action, slightly western-feeling beauty, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
In a surprising turn early in Sony’s E3 2017 press conference, Sony unveiled a brand new, distinctly current-gen Monster Hunter for PS4, entitled Monster Hunter World. While the trailer doesn’t give too much away about the wider structure, or what exactly that ‘World’ part indicates – though a bit of camp fire cooking does appear at the end – it does indicate an interesting tune-up of the series’ traditionally methodical action. With a slightly more western twang, Monster Hunter World doesn’t wa

You may be excited when you see a new game coming for PlayStation VR, but you always secretly wish it was Skyrim instead. Don’t worry, you’re not alone. The Sony E3 2017 press conference confirmed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR is coming, though it didn’t reveal a release date. The brief teaser trailer showed off several forms of motion-controlled combat, including swinging swords, aiming a bow and arrow, and even casting spells. gamesradar wrote a new post, Shadow of the Colossus PS4 remaster looks amazing – but will you play it? Again?, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
Shadow of the Colossus is widely considered to be one of the all-time greatest games. So maybe it should be little surprise that at E3 2017 we would see Shadow of the Colossus remastered for PS4, with new models, textures, lighting effects, and so on. But this looks like a far more thorough rework:But, as I pointed out: this will be the third time this game has come to market. So I’m curious, are the upgraded visuals enough to make you play through this classic yet again? Make sure you check out

gamesradar wrote a new post, Horizon: Zero Dawn The Frozen Wilds DLC looks set to be treacherous – perhaps with a new foe waiting in the smoke, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
That’s the sound of Aloy returning in the brand new Horizon: Zero Dawn DLC The Frozen Wilds. Surrounding the mountain is a crackling electric smoke, as if something is alive in the mountain…and it’s not happy. The thing is, Horizon: Zero Dawn didn’t leave a lot of unanswered questions. So, are we about to meet a colossal new beast, waiting in the smoke atop of the mountain? Remember, at the end of Horizon: Zero Dawn we say Sylens had in fact teamed up with Hades, who is most definitely not dea

gamesradar wrote a new post, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy looks very Tomb Raider-y, with attacking statues and large-scale death traps, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
The original Uncharted was heavily inspired by Tomb Raider, and was full of large-scale puzzles and booby traps. The further the series went along, the more it shifted to a focus on action setpieces and dramatic storytelling. But judging by what we saw of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy at E3 2017, it looks like the series is going back to its tomb raiding roots. Notice all the golden puzzle pieces and the statues seemingly coming to life (though I think they’re not actually fully autonomous). Make s

Sony has revealed one of the most intriguing games of E3 2017… during its PS4 E3 press conference pre-show. Hidden Agenda is a murder mystery game which uses a new PS4 feature called Play Link. gamesradar wrote a new post, Beyond Good and Evil 2’s big changes point to a perfectly authentic sequel, and a profoundly grown-up one at that, on the site GoGame.com 9 years, 2 months ago
To say that I pored over the Beyond Good & Evil 2 trailer with furious intensity would be, well, entirely accurate. And I think that’s absolutely what Beyond Good and Evil 2 is primed to do. The game’s world – with all its awe-inspiring scale and grounded, human detail – is obviously the first step in realising such a goal. I don’t know exactly how Beyond Good and Evil 2 is going to play. In other words: the foundation for a perfectly fitting sequel to Beyond Good & Evil.

And the sort of grim realities Metro presents feel more at home on Xbox that Fallout’s 50s retro-futurism. As a console so closely associated with games like Gears of War, the grit of the Metro setting suits it extremely well.
