gamesradar wrote a new post, Modder puts cut Bloodborne enemies back into game, to varying degrees of success, on the site GoGame.com 8 years, 7 months ago
McDonalds owes much of his work to a datamine from December which revealed plenty of unused beasties for the game, several of which you see in the video above. As McDonalds points out, the creatures all exist in varying degrees of incompleteness. McDonalds posits that the Lesser Demon was likely a boss or mini-boss, while the King Skeleton was likely a more standard NPC enemy. In any case, it’s pretty cool that new mysteries are still being uncovered in a game quickly approaching its three-year

gamesradar wrote a new post, This Cyberpunk 2077 report says it’s gonna be huge at E3 and I need to believe so badly, on the site GoGame.com 8 years, 7 months ago
It’s probably still too early to say our years of patience waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 will soon pay off. This comes just a week after the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account sent out its first message in four years (which was, admittedly, just a “beep”). According to GamePressure’s article (translated from original reporting by its Polish sister site, GRYOnline.pl), a new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer will make a big appearance at one of the pre-E3 press conferences. This report is sweet succor to

Titanic, on the surface of it, looked like a heck of a departure for director James Cameron when it was released in 1997. But now I put this to you: Titanic is as logically James Cameron as a James Cameron film can be. Because Titanic is a Terminator film. A history of the future The 30 best Terminator momentsJack himself seems as confused as the movie is. So that’s Jack, recounting some wholesome, fish-killing winter fun that happened five years after he actually died.

This deleted scene explores that very idea – and it’s a lot funnier than you might expect. Serving as essentially a happy alternate ending to the movie, Georgie goes after his paper sailboat once again. The people who made IT (2017) actually made a joke version of the Pennywise/Georgie scene. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a film doing a joke version of a scene and actually keeping it as a deleted scene. The Xbox One version landed like a brick wrapped in wet newspaper, with a sad, demoralizing thud. But even for an early access title, PUBG on Xbox feels surprisingly incomplete. Change the controlsThe first and most glaring and obvious flaw in the Xbox One version of PUBG is the bizarre control scheme. PUBG isn’t an awful looking game, but it certainly isn’t so visually dazzling that you expect the Xbox One to sag under the weight of running it. Build a tutorialLast but not least (and this is an

Living in a small Mexican village, 12-year-old Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming a musician, but is forbidden by his family. More conceptually terrifying is the idea that in the Land of the Dead, continued existence depends on being remembered. Coco’s world is built on a series of interlinking rules like this that just about cohere, but its script strains against its own internal logic. But there’s no question these devices work, Coco hitting emotional highs that rival Up and Toy Stor

Is Mirror Stamets evil? So, we see that Mirror Stamets is inside the Mycelial network along with regular Stamets. Sure, active cloaking and cloaking tech clearly exists in the Terran universe, but you’d think Terran vessels would be able to keep track of each other. And given that he was just a cover for Voq and L’Rell to infiltrate Discovery, he’s probably gone for good. Unless… they come across Mirror Tyler in the Terran universe.

After the fast-paced and game-changing events of episode 10, Despite Yourself , Star Trek Discovery has a lot to live up to. Happily, episode 11, The Wolf Inside, doesn’t let up the pace and while it swaps action for character revelations, it’s no less thrilling because of it. This is a mental projection Luke is using to distract Kylo Ren so that the few remaining members of The Resistance can get away. gamesradar wrote a new post, No Game of Thrones prequel spinoffs will arrive until 2020 at the earliest, on the site GoGame.com 8 years, 7 months ago
Game of Thrones season 8 won’t air until 2019, and even though it’s only six episodes long that doesn’t mean spin-off series will be quick to follow. Just because HBO’s working on ideas for a bunch of Game of Thrones spin-offs doesn’t mean all – or indeed any – of them will make it all the way to the small screen. Beyond the brass-tacks concerns of production schedules, Bloys also said that it’s important to ensure the looming prospect of spinoffs doesn’t lessen Game of Thrones season 8 as a pro

But, as BioShock players would soon discover in the autumn of 2007, the question itself was loaded. There is, in any player-driven narrative experience – be it linear or otherwise – merely the illusion of choice and control. It’s the first of many emotional tethers Irrational Games creates throughout the experience as it builds towards its twist reveal. BioShock offered some of the biggest thrills the infant console generation had seen, and its impact on the story-driven shooter is difficult to qu

gamesradar wrote a new post, Bungie’s roadmap for Destiny 2 improvements is welcome, but the game’s long-term health relies on more than changes to the Eververse, on the site GoGame.com 8 years, 7 months ago
I splurged out a mighty torrent of tweets on these matters yesterday, before Bungie’s update hit its blog. You can plough through the whole thread here if you like, but I’ll give you the TL; DR right now. Basically, Destiny 2 has a much lighter sense of meaningful, RPG progression than the first game. There are fewer ways to hunt down gear that, ultimately, doesn’t have much of a tangible purpose beyond being collected. Because long-term, ultimately, is what Destiny 2 needs to be about.
