According to Bungie, Destiny 2‘s Leviathan raid and Eater of Worlds raid lair will get their gear buffed to match the Warmind expansion’s new Power levels. That will happen without the raid activities getting their Power levels raised. On the other hand, players can also level to 380 by playing only the new content and never going back to the old raids. The old raids won’t always drop the highest level loot though. Auchenpaugh says these old raids will eventually be retired from the power climb.
